Nothing protects black women from dying in pregnancy and childbirth

Over the last two decades, the number of American #women who die each year from a #pregnancy- or #childbirth-related cause has skyrocketed by more than 50%. The risks for black women are more than three times higher than for white or Hispanic women, regardless of income or education.
